The Wingate Special Children’s Trust

The Wingate Special Children’s Trust is an independent charity devoted to enriching the lives of children and young adults with all levels of physical and learning disability or who are disadvantaged.

The Wingate Centre is a specialist short break residential centre for special needs schools, voluntary groups and family support groups.

The Centre can cater for groups from 8-50 with a whole range of disabilities including autistic spectrum and challenging behaviour.

It offers sports recreational facilities to local disability organisations, day centres and special schools through its fully equipped gymnasium.

The Centre also strongly supports inclusion and runs a gym club offering lessons to local non disabled children in the evenings and at weekends.

With the help of The St. James's Place Foundation, RBA Wealth management have been able to donate over £2300 to the charity, which will help buy equipment that the children need.

David Booth is seen here presenting the donation cheque to charity representatives.
